Mr Tan Choon Hock, Chief Executive Officer of Menta Construction Sdn Bhd, one of the leading earthworks and infrastructure company in Malaysia with over RM 400 Million turnover in 2016.

Mr Tan started his own business in year 1982 – Menta and has completed work in excess of RM 4 Billion, encompassing a RM 1.2 Billion construction project for Petronas Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) in Pengerang, Johor.

Over the past 37 years, Mr Tan has been devoting his entire attention to civil and infrastructure construction works such as earthworks, building, roadworks, rock blasting, bridge construction, sewerage and drainage.

Menta being capable to complete projects with prominence and promptness, fostering and upholding a good relationship/reputation with renowned financial institutions (i.e. Public Bank Berhad ) Mr Tan believes that MENTA is readily available and will always be financially competent to finance , undertake and complete more/new projects.

Today instead of walking on a treadmill, Mr Tan has set his foot in the real estate development industry. Moving into a new industry is never an easy task but Mr Tan’s grittiness has driven him to embrace every challenges he face in life – from a wire technician/mechanic, hardware salesperson, quarry sand supplier to the entrepreneur of Menta Construction Sdn Bhd, being able to sustain through the 1997/98 Asian financial crisis and now evolving as a property developer.
